Alder Recreation Centre
The Alder Recreation Centre will host the Canada Day 2019 event in Orangeville this year! The Alder Recreation Centre will feature a variety of free activities for the whole family to enjoy from 11:45 AM to 5:00 PM on Canada Day. Some of the activities available for visitors to participate in include face painting, airbrush tattooing, a photo booth, and other crafting activities. The Alder Recreation Centre will also feature Free Public Swims as well from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM and 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
The Great Canadian Lumberjack Show
Another great event that will occur at the Canada Day 2019 celebration this year is The Great Canadian Lumberjack Show. This show will feature lumberjacks competing in a variety of events including wood chopping, chainsaw carving, axe throwing, and cross-cut sawing. There will be three showings of The Great Canadian Lumberjack Show. Showtimes are 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM.
Island Lake Fireworks
The Canada Day 2019 celebration will wrap up with a fireworks display at Island Lake. From 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Campfire Poets will be performing at the Island Lake Amphitheatre. The fireworks show will begin at 10:00 PM for all to enjoy. Regular park admission applies at Island Lake until 9:00 PM.
