What is SYNC® 4 Infotainment System Inside the Latest Ford Models?

An Overview on the Ford SYNC® 4 Infotainment System Inside the Latest 2021 Ford Models

With the arrival of several new Ford vehicles, many may find cross-model additions throughout the model lineup. One such addition is the Ford SYNC® 4 and 4A infotainment systems. At Blackstock Ford Lincoln, we go over the next-generation of the SYNC® 4 Infotainment System found inside the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E as well as several other 2021 models.

How Has SYNC® 4 Been Upgraded?

The Ford SYNC® 4 will be upgraded in several levels from the SYNC® 3. In select models, the SYNC® 4 will have an updated layout. The new 12-inch display will come capable with a split-screen option. Inside the larger 15.5-inch monitors, Ford will introduce Adaptive Dash Cards. This feature provides a horizontal list of your favorite and most-used apps for quick access. While the SYNC3 feature required wi-fi to use, the updated system utilizes the vehicle’s own internet connection. Also, each system will provide advanced learning technologies to gauge behavior and provide more precise suggestions.

What Ford Models Currently Have SYNC® 4?

Since the SYNC® 4 system is hot off the manufacturing line, the Ford model lineup will begin rolling out in several new models. Most notably, the system will be the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E in its SYNC® 4A rendition. It’s a more unique take from the traditional landscape screen fourth-generation system with its portrait layout. Beyond the Mach-E, the system will be introduced inside the Ford Bronco as well as come standard to all 2021 Ford F-150 trim levels.
